Senior IT Support Specialist

Location: Klamath Falls, OR (On-site)

Contract Duration: 1+ Years

Schedule: Full-Time

Pay: $35-$45/hr

We're seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist to provide advanced technical support and ensure smooth IT operations for an on-site environment in Roseburg, Oregon. This position plays a key role in supporting daily business functions, resolving complex technical issues, and mentoring junior analysts. It's a great opportunity for a skilled IT professional who enjoys hands-on problem solving and delivering exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do

• Act as the primary escalation point for Level 1 Analysts.
• Deliver advanced workstation, network, and application support.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, device, and server issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform incident response, system reboots, and OS maintenance tasks.
• Administer and support Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments.
• Resolve VPN, email, and printing issues for end users.
• Conduct root cause analysis and accurately document findings in the ticketing system.
• Follow SOPs and ITIL best practices for all technical processes.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and end users.
• Help refine and standardize triage and troubleshooting procedures for the support team.

What You Bring

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows systems.
• Working understanding of TCP/IP, networking fundamentals, and VPN connectivity.
• Excellent communication skills - able to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
• Proven experience with incident management and technical documentation.
• A strong commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a service desk or multi-client support environment.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, Microsoft 365, or Azure.
• Familiarity with VMware or virtualization technologies.
• Intermediate experience with scripting or command-line tools.
